Chapter 70: You're Done for, Kid
"It's over. There's no way we can leave now." Uncle Bai staggered in fear, his hands trembling as anxiety overtook him.
"Xiaofeng, hurry and hide. Don't let them find you, no matter what," Aunt Yao whispered urgently, her eyes darting as she pulled him toward the kitchen. The people outside were not to be trifled with; they absolutely couldn't let Xiaoqian's classmate get involved.
Bang!
Before Aunt Yao could get Lin Feng out, a burly man with dyed yellow hair suddenly kicked the door open, a machete in his hand as he stormed inside. Behind him followed more than a dozen men, all looking fierce and menacing.
"Well, look at that, the shop has a guest. No wonder you ignored even us," the yellow-haired man sneered, grinning as he strode in, propping himself up with his knife handle on the chair and leaning forward. His voice was cold. "You two old fools still want to see your daughter?"
"If you obediently sign this demolition agreement, I'll bring her here to see you. If not, you can just wait for her to be ruined. With her pretty face and graceful figure, plenty of people are willing to pay a high price."
"You bastards! What have you done to my daughter?" Uncle Bai was filled with rage, charging into the kitchen and grabbing a cleaver. He pointed it at them, shouting, "If anything happens to my daughter, I'll fight you to the death!"
"Ha, just you?" The yellow-haired man laughed mockingly, shaking his head in contempt. "You’re all skin and bones now, why can't you just let go?"
"Boss Wang has offered you a good price. Take the money and leave—everyone wins. Why insist on opposing us? Do you really think you can stand against us?"
"You... you’re nothing but thieves! This shop is my life's work. The compensation you offer doesn't even cover the equipment here. I will never agree," Uncle Bai retorted angrily.
"Not agreeing? Then you’ll just have to watch your daughter screaming in the arms of countless men. We’ve already found her new buyers. With a word from me, someone will pounce on her right now and make her drink bean juice."
"You scoundrels! I’ll have your lives!" Uncle Bai was nearly beside himself with fury, throwing caution to the wind as he charged at the yellow-haired man.
Crash!
The yellow-haired man raised his machete, knocking the cleaver from Uncle Bai’s hand. He followed up by slashing his blade across Uncle Bai’s cheek.
Blood streamed from Uncle Bai’s face, and he stumbled back several steps. The yellow-haired man and his gang burst out in raucous laughter.
The yellow-haired man sneered, taunting, "Old fool, do you really think a kitchen knife will scare us? Let me tell you, if you don’t sign today, not only will your daughter suffer, but you won’t survive either."
"What bravado," Lin Feng, who stood to the side, finally understood the whole situation. These thugs were hired muscle, willing to do anything to achieve their goals, even kidnapping Xiaoqian and threatening Uncle Bai and Aunt Yao.
"You want to meddle, kid?" The yellow-haired man turned toward Lin Feng, sizing him up with disdain. "Looks like you don’t know who we are. Ever heard of Leopard Lord of Jiangcheng?"
"We’re all Leopard Lord’s men. If you kneel right now, crawl between my legs, and call me 'grandpa' twice, maybe I’ll let you go."
"If not, you’ll end up like these two old fools."
Lin Feng let out a derisive chuckle and walked straight toward the crowd.
Aunt Yao, still anxious, rushed to block him. "Xiaofeng, let me hold them off—you run! Don’t get involved. These people are ruthless; you’re no match for them."
"Don’t worry, Aunt Yao. I’m Xiaoqian’s classmate. She helped me a lot back in school, and you two have always treated me kindly. I must return that kindness."
"With me here today, no one will lay a finger on you," Lin Feng said, grasping her hand firmly to comfort her.
Aunt Yao sighed in despair. How did things come to this? Unable to stop Lin Feng, she watched as he strode up to the yellow-haired man and said coldly, "So you work for the Leopard Lord? Then today’s your unlucky day."
"The animal I despise most is the leopard. As for his lackeys, I won’t spare any of them."
"You calling me a dog?" The yellow-haired man's eyes bulged like bells as he glared at Lin Feng. "No one around here has ever dared to oppose me. Today, I’ll show you what it feels like to be hacked by a knife."
Swish!
The machete came down, aiming straight for Lin Feng’s head.
Lin Feng lightly dodged with his right foot, his body leaning back just enough to evade the blow. He grabbed the yellow-haired man's wrist with one hand, immobilizing him.
Bang!
With a resounding crash, Lin Feng kicked the man’s knee joint, twisting his right leg out of shape and causing him to scream in agony.
“Ah! My leg! Get him! Kill that kid!” The yellow-haired man, sweating profusely, gave the order, and the rest of his men charged at Lin Feng.
A murderous gleam flashed in Lin Feng’s eyes. With a snap, he broke the yellow-haired man’s arm, snatched the machete, and began weaving effortlessly through the crowd.
His movements were swift, like lightning flickering among them. In just over ten seconds, he emerged outside the group, while everyone stood frozen, dumbstruck.
Thud, thud, thud!
Two seconds later, wounds on their bodies erupted all at once, blood spurting forth and soaking the floor.
"Wha—what?" The yellow-haired man watched in stupefied disbelief.
Only now did he realize he had run into a true master.
"Such paltry tricks, and you dare show off before me?" Lin Feng said icily, walking up to the yellow-haired man and kicking him to the ground. He stepped hard on the man's chest and demanded, "Where is Xiaoqian? Bring her to me."
"Kid, you want to be a hero? You’d better see if you have what it takes. The one you’re looking for is with Leopard Lord. If you’ve got guts, let me call him," the yellow-haired man glared defiantly at Lin Feng.
As soon as Leopard Lord arrived, he was sure Lin Feng would be beaten senseless.
"Heh, I’ll give you the chance," Lin Feng said, lifting his foot and sending him off to make the call.
Moments later, a chaotic clatter of footsteps sounded outside the restaurant. Through the door strode a sharp-nosed man with a bristling mustache, dressed in traditional martial arts attire and carrying a long blade. He entered, flanked by a crowd of men!
