Chapter 38: Terminating the Partnership

"Another surprise?" Su Qingxue was even more puzzled.

Lin Feng smiled calmly, leaned close to her ear, and told her what he had just done. When she finished listening, she burst into laughter, unable to contain herself, and praised him, "Lin Feng, you really are something. I never expected you to be so cunning. Weren't you deliberately trying to startle her?"

"If I hadn't done that, how could she possibly settle down? I don't want to see her bullying you again," Lin Feng joked.

Su Qingxue's cheeks instinctively flushed. She shyly lowered her head, secretly delighted as she began to eat.

They arrived at the bank in high spirits, but as soon as they got out of the car, they saw a commotion inside. Many customers were gathered, as if something had happened.

Su Qingxue's first reaction was that Su Shifeng had come to cause trouble again, but Lin Feng knew that was impossible. Su Shifeng had already been crippled by him and couldn't recover so quickly.

"Let the bank manager come out at once! We want to terminate our cooperation unless she's willing to lower the interest rates."

Amidst the chaos, Su Qingxue and Lin Feng walked in from outside. The lobby manager spotted Su Qingxue and quickly rushed through the crowd, approaching her anxiously. "Manager, you finally arrived! "Manager Su, we're not being unreasonable. We ask you to lower the rates because other banks offer even lower ones. If you're willing to reduce by ten points, we'll continue our loans."

"If not, our cooperation ends here," declared a leading major client.

He was Su Bank's largest client. If he terminated his cooperation, the impact on Su Bank would be immense. On top of that, Su Qingxue had just reached a partnership with Liran Group, which required substantial funding. If these clients terminated their contracts, it would directly affect the subsequent cooperation projects. If the projects couldn't be completed on time, Su Qingxue would be burdened with massive debts, and Su Bank would risk bankruptcy.

"Which bank agreed to lower your rates? Could you tell me?" Su Qingxue, after pondering for a moment, suddenly stared coldly at the major client and asked.

She was confident that the rates she offered in Jiangcheng couldn't be beaten. They were deliberately causing trouble.

"Hmph, we can't tell you that. What if you approach them and get them to raise their rates?"

"Manager Su, please make a decision quickly. If you can't lower the rates today, we'll terminate all cooperation," Zheng Guangcai, the major client, urged again.

As soon as he spoke, other major clients clamored loudly.

Su Qingxue's brows knitted tightly, her heart filled with worry. These people had clearly come prepared. They seemed to know she couldn't afford to lose their cooperation; otherwise, they wouldn't dare be so aggressive.

Just as she was at a loss for what to do, Lin Feng suddenly stepped forward, smiling, "Everyone, please be quiet. I have a few words to say."

"Since you're all so dissatisfied with Su Bank, terminating your cooperation is your right. On behalf of Manager Su, I hereby decide that all your contracts with Su Bank are terminated as of now. You may leave."

"What? Who do you think you are, to make decisions for Manager Su?" Zheng Guangcai, who had been urging Su Qingxue, now panicked and angrily glared at Lin Feng.

Lin Feng shrugged disdainfully. "I'm Manager Su's friend, and I trust her to follow my advice."

"Qingxue, wouldn't you agree?"
