Lin Siyu's face flushed a deep red as she instantly realized that she had collided right into Zhang Xiaofan’s groin.

“You filthy scoundrel, how can you still be hard at a time like this…” Lin Siyu groaned inwardly, wishing she could just bite it off.

“How is this my fault? With all this jostling back and forth, your face keeps rubbing against me—how could I not get hard? I’m a man, that’s just how it is.” Zhang Xiaofan shot her a sideways glance.

“Hurry up and get off!” Lin Siyu was on the verge of a breakdown, shaking her head furiously.

“Alright, alright, I’m getting off, just don’t move. If you move again, I’ll react all over again.” Zhang Xiaofan was speechless—was she doing this on purpose?

“Wow! What are you two up to?” Lin Sixue, sitting in the back seat, was watching the whole thing with great interest. How could that thing be standing up so tall!

“Kids shouldn’t watch.” Zhang Xiaofan glared at her, then slowly moved from the driver’s seat to the front passenger seat.

Damn it, now what do I do if it won’t go down? Oh, come on, Xiaofan, you’d better calm yourself…

“You idiot, are you blind or what? How do you drive like that?”

A young man jumped out of the Pentium sedan, storming over in a fury.

Lin Siyu was already fuming, and the man’s barrage of curses sent her straight over the edge.

She got out of the car and snapped, “You’re the blind one! Your whole family’s blind! If you hadn’t slammed on the brakes like a moron, how would I have rear-ended you?”

“Damn, this chick is fierce when she’s mad.” Zhang Xiaofan remarked, also getting out of the car. Regardless of the situation, he kept his guard up. That Pentium had stopped abruptly—it could be a coincidence, but the odds of such a coincidence were less than one in a thousand.

The young man was caught off guard, not expecting this woman to be so aggressive.

“You filthy whore, how dare you curse at me?”

He flew into a rage and immediately raised a hand to strike Lin Siyu.

Ordinarily, with Lin Siyu’s looks, no man would lose his temper like that—let alone raise a hand, especially since insurance would handle the accident anyway.

And Lin Siyu was driving a Mercedes, clearly someone of status. Yet this man started with insults then tried to hit her.

Thinking again about the almost impossible odds of this traffic accident, Zhang Xiaofan grew more and more suspicious of the man.

“Trash, and you think you can lay a hand on my woman?” Zhang Xiaofan stepped to Lin Siyu’s side.

“Well, well, where did this bumpkin come from? Are you looking for death?” The young man gave Zhang Xiaofan a once-over, a sharp glint flickering in his eyes.

Zhang Xiaofan sneered inwardly. Still pretending? Calloused palms—either a gunman or a martial artist—and putting on this petty thug act. His performance was laughably poor.

Still, Zhang Xiaofan remained calm. This was just a small fry, and he wasn’t sure if the man was after him or Lin Siyu.

He’d killed Long San; perhaps some loyal follower was out for revenge.

“Little punk, want me to beat the crap out of you?” Zhang Xiaofan sneered coldly.

“Fuck you!”

Enraged, the young man lunged at Zhang Xiaofan, throwing a punch at his face!

But this was no ordinary punch—a glint of light flashed between his knuckles, its trajectory aimed straight at Lin Siyu.

A clever setup: a staged traffic accident, followed by a quarrel, then a scuffle—seizing the chance to strike at Lin Siyu.

But he underestimated Zhang Xiaofan.

At lightning speed, two fingers snatched the glinting object: a fine steel needle, its surface coated in a dark sheen—clearly laced with deadly poison.

The young man’s face was stricken with horror. At such close range, with such speed, and such a stealthy move—yet even so, Zhang Xiaofan had caught it. What kind of monster was this?

Without a second thought, the man tried to turn and run.

“Running? How naive,” Zhang Xiaofan muttered.

He lashed out with a kick, sending the man sprawling to the ground, then pinned his face underfoot, crouching down to say coldly, “Speak. Did the Venom Hand King send you?”

“I don’t know what you’re talking about,” the young man denied.

“Oh?”

*Crunch.*

Without another word, Zhang Xiaofan stomped down, snapping his neck.

The young man’s eyes bulged in terror. Who was this guy—he didn’t even give him a second chance to speak.

“You killed again…” Lin Siyu murmured, looking at the lifeless body on the ground.

“He deserved to die—why shouldn’t he?” Zhang Xiaofan replied calmly. “Let’s get in the car.”

“Did you…did you really just kill someone?” In the car, Lin Sixue was frightened. “Murderers get the death penalty.”

Zhang Xiaofan couldn’t be bothered to explain. He was thinking—he was far too passive in this situation. He couldn’t shadow Lin Siyu every minute.

The Venom Hand King was ruthless and cunning; if he was determined to kill Lin Siyu, it would be a headache. Zhang Xiaofan needed to seize the initiative.

“That was a hitman sent to kill me. Killing him won’t cause any trouble,” Lin Siyu said seriously.

“Wow…that’s terrifying. Cousin, are they after you because of the Divine Pill?”

“Enough! Don’t talk about what you shouldn’t.” Lin Siyu snapped, clearly angry.

“There’s no need for that. I know about the Divine Pill. It greatly enhances battle prowess, but the side effects are severe,” Zhang Xiaofan said.

“Are you from Dragon Soul?” Lin Siyu was startled. The Divine Pill had been in development for years and only tested within Dragon Soul.

Normal people couldn’t withstand its effects.

“You’re not as stupid as you look,” Zhang Xiaofan murmured.

“What’s Dragon Soul?” Lin Sixue asked, confused. It sounded so impressive.

“Children shouldn’t ask too many questions.” Zhang Xiaofan shot her a look.

“Hmph, who are you calling a child?” Lin Sixue puffed out her chest, brimming with confidence.

Perhaps after witnessing Zhang Xiaofan kill a man, she felt a bit intimidated by him now.

“Alright, alright…you’re not a kid, not at all…”

Zhang Xiaofan started the car and headed back to the villa.

“Sixue, you’ll sleep with me tonight,” Lin Siyu said after dinner.

“Yay, sure!” Lin Sixue replied eagerly.

“Lin, is there still a room upstairs?” Zhang Xiaofan asked Lin Siyu with an innocent expression. Their enemies had already made a move; staying downstairs wouldn’t be close enough for proper protection.

“You can’t possibly want to sleep in the same room with me and my sister, can you? My god…” Lin Sixue stared at Zhang Xiaofan in disbelief.

“Heh, you misunderstood. I’m such a pure man—how could I think like that? I just meant staying upstairs would let me protect you better. Of course, if you want me to sleep with you, I wouldn’t mind,” Zhang Xiaofan said with a mischievous smile.

“Yeah right, if you’re pure, there are no perverts left in the world,” Lin Sixue retorted.

“Well, there is a smaller room upstairs, right next to my bedroom, but it is a bit small,” Lin Siyu replied. He was here to protect her after all—putting on airs would be unreasonable.

And besides, wasn’t he here to cure her sister’s illness?

“It’s not small at all, it’s quite spacious…” Zhang Xiaofan glanced at Lin Siyu’s impressive figure, swallowing hard. He wondered who was bigger, Lin Siyu or Lin Sixue.

Lin Siyu noticed the predatory look in Zhang Xiaofan’s eyes and realized what he really meant.

“Had enough of staring? If so, come upstairs with me,” Lin Siyu said, rolling her eyes at Zhang Xiaofan. She was at her wits’ end with this scoundrel—she couldn’t exactly blindfold him, could she?

“Lin, are you inviting me to your room? Isn’t that a little fast?” Zhang Xiaofan teased.

Lin Siyu was speechless. This guy’s innocent expression was completely unconvincing, his big, pretty eyes wide as he looked at her.

“Don’t look at me like that, Lin. I might not be able to control myself.”

“Can you be serious for once? If you’re not coming upstairs, then just stay on the first floor!” Lin Siyu quickly cut him off, not wanting to imagine what he might say next.

Without another word, Zhang Xiaofan followed Lin Siyu upstairs, with Lin Sixue giggling as she trailed after them.

She thought this was all hilarious—not only could she not handle this guy, but the usually cold, powerful Lin always seemed helpless around him too.

Lin Sixue took comfort in that and found it quite amusing.

“This will be your room from now on,” Lin Siyu said, opening a door next to the master bedroom on the second floor.

There was a large study upstairs, as well as a spacious gym filled with all kinds of equipment—these two rooms alone took up most of the space.

The room Lin Siyu opened was right next to the master bedroom.

Zhang Xiaofan glanced around. The room wasn’t large, but it was tidy and cozy—he was quite satisfied.

“But I should warn you: if you need to shower or use the bathroom, you’ll have to go downstairs,” Lin Siyu said seriously. She was simply not comfortable sharing a bathroom with a man.

“And let me tell you, you lecher: if you dare peek while we’re bathing, I’ll gouge your eyes out,” Lin Sixue threatened, eyes wide.

“Why would I want to peek at you? You’ll strip down obediently for me soon enough,” Zhang Xiaofan laughed.

“Hmph, that’s different! That’s for the medical exam, but if you peek at us bathing, that’s perverted,” Lin Sixue said.

Zhang Xiaofan sighed—seemed like he’d met his match with this little lady.

“Fine, fine, you’re always right. Now, please go to your room and undress—I need to give you a massage,” Zhang Xiaofan said with a grin.

Lin Siyu was speechless. How did treating an illness sound so suggestive when it came from his mouth?

Nevertheless, she opened her own bedroom door.

Zhang Xiaofan peeked inside and saw a set of red bedding and a bed big enough for three. He wondered why she needed such a huge bed for herself.

“Lin, your bed is so big. Why don’t I just sleep with you? I could protect you better that way,” Zhang Xiaofan said, maintaining his innocent look.

“In your dreams…” Lin Siyu rolled her eyes at him. She had lost count of how many times she’d done that today—was she becoming numb to his shamelessness?

“Classmate Zhang Xiaofan, when do we begin?” Lin Sixue was already sitting on the big bed, looking at Zhang Xiaofan expectantly.
