“I’m going to kill you!” Wang Yuqing couldn’t take it anymore. She lunged forward and bit Zhang Xiaofan’s arm, her teeth sinking in as saliva dripped.

“A gentleman argues with words, not fists—let’s talk, let’s talk!” Zhang Xiaofan yelped in pain. This little tigress was far too fierce.

“Get lost! I’m no gentleman—and using my mouth counts, doesn’t it?”

“Fine, you win. But I haven’t bathed in days.”

“What—ugh!” The moment she heard he hadn’t showered in days, Wang Yuqing instantly let go of her red lips and sharp teeth, spitting into the trash can again and again.

“Yuqing, what’s wrong?” Aunt Yun came over carrying a bowl of tomato and egg soup.

“N-nothing… I bit into a stone in my food,” Wang Yuqing stammered, not daring to tell the truth. Who knew what other tricks Zhang Xiaofan might have up his sleeve?

Throughout the meal, Wang Yuqing kept shooting murderous glances at Zhang Xiaofan, as if the food in her mouth was him. Zhang Xiaofan, meanwhile, acted as if nothing had happened, though his eyes occasionally drifted toward the neckline of her uniform, secretly wishing things were a little more developed.

After dinner, Zhang Xiaofan chatted with Aunt Yun for a bit before everyone turned in for the night.

The night passed peacefully. Zhang Xiaofan slept soundly, but Wang Yuqing tossed and turned, unable to think of a good way to deal with him.

The next morning, after an early breakfast, Aunt Yun drove them both to school.

“Hey beautiful, you’re gorgeous! Mind sharing your WeChat?” As soon as they entered the campus, Zhang Xiaofan’s eyes were in full force. No wonder Jinghai City’s First High School had such a reputation—beautiful girls everywhere, their short uniform skirts and scholarly aura making them all the more alluring.

Wang Yuqing was speechless. She quickened her pace, feeling that standing next to Zhang Xiaofan was nothing short of humiliating.

“If I’d known school was this wonderful, I’d have come down from the mountain ages ago. Those so-called island stars are nothing compared to the beauties here.” Zhang Xiaofan felt as if spring had finally arrived in his life.

“Wow, is this girl an athlete? She’s walking so fast!” Watching Wang Yuqing hurry off, Zhang Xiaofan pulled his gaze back and chased after her. In a school this big, who knew how long it would take him to find his classroom on his own? On the very first day, he couldn’t afford to be late—especially if the homeroom teacher turned out to be a beauty; what a terrible first impression that would make.

Jinghai First High School, Senior Three, Class Two. Both Zhang Xiaofan and Wang Yuqing were assigned to the same class.

As soon as they entered, curious and questioning eyes turned their way. Zhang Xiaofan ignored them, scanning the room. “Not bad, a few beauties here,” he thought, before picking a seat and settling in.

Soon, the bell rang, and the teacher entered. She was stunning—dressed in a professional outfit, a white blouse paired with a tight black skirt, sheer dark stockings covering her thighs. Her features were exquisite, lips rosy, and her eyes smoldered with a captivating allure. The buttons of her blouse strained against her generous figure. Compared to Wang Yuqing’s youthful beauty, this teacher possessed a far more devastating charm.

The boys in the class each swallowed nervously, unable to hide their awe—except for Zhang Xiaofan, who managed to remain composed, though his eyes never left the beautiful teacher.

“Hello, everyone. I’m your new homeroom teacher, Ouyang Xue,” she introduced herself.

“Hello, teacher!”

“Teacher, you’re so beautiful!”

Ah, hopeless—boys acting like this at the sight of a pretty woman. Zhang Xiaofan blinked, trying to catch a glimpse of what might be black lace…

Ouyang Xue smiled slightly, not at all upset by their enthusiasm.

“Which student is Zhang Xiaofan?” she asked, raising her hand for silence.

“I am.” Zhang Xiaofan stood up, neither arrogant nor servile, though he couldn’t help but stare at Ouyang Xue’s beauty and explosive figure.

Being stared at so directly made Ouyang Xue feel a bit awkward, but she understood—it was only natural.

“I’ve been informed you’re new here. I hear you’re from the mountains. Work hard to catch up with your studies,” she said earnestly.

Zhang Xiaofan nodded. “With such a beautiful teacher as motivation, I’ll do my best and bring honor to you!” His voice was bright and full of energy, entirely sincere—though his gaze remained fixed just below Ouyang Xue’s collar.

Ouyang Xue taught Chinese, and this morning’s lesson was on classical texts. Zhang Xiaofan, having learned ancient literature from his grandfather since childhood, understood everything with ease.

Before long, the class was over. Ouyang Xue reminded everyone to review seriously before leaving the room.

Zhang Xiaofan, feeling the call of nature, hurried out. But he had no idea where the restroom was, which left him awkwardly wandering the hall.

Just then, he spotted Ouyang Xue and rushed over. “Excuse me, Miss… Teacher, where’s the restroom?” He almost blurted out “Miss Busty,” but quickly caught himself. It wouldn’t do to offend the beautiful teacher on the first day; most importantly, it would ruin the image he wanted to maintain.

“Oh, Zhang Xiaofan. The restroom is straight down this hallway,” she said, giving him directions. Zhang Xiaofan barely had time to thank her before hurrying off, accidentally bumping into her—his arm brushing against her chest.

Zhang Xiaofan seemed oblivious. Ouyang Xue was about to get angry, but seeing him dash away, her annoyance faded. After all, what harm could a student’s innocent mistake do?

“Not bad, the feel was pretty good,” Zhang Xiaofan thought, though Ouyang Xue had no idea he was that bold.

“Hey, new kid—never seen you around before.” In the restroom, after Zhang Xiaofan relieved himself, a few shifty-looking students surrounded him, cigarettes dangling from their mouths as they tried to look tough.

Zhang Xiaofan couldn’t be bothered with them. There was still time before the next class, and he needed to get back.

“You’ve got guts. Do you know who I am?” the leader, his hair dyed yellow, grabbed Zhang Xiaofan by the arm.

“Who are you?” Zhang Xiaofan asked.

“Listen up, our boss is Wu Hai,” a lackey piped up, puffing out his chest with pride.

“Oh.” Zhang Xiaofan responded carelessly. “And what’s that got to do with me?”

“It’s got everything to do with you. Newcomers have to pay a fee—two hundred yuan. From now on, Brother Hai will look after you.” Wu Hai looked at Zhang Xiaofan with contempt, beginning his extortion.

This kind of scene was common in TV dramas—typical thugs, the sort who had no interest in school.

“A bunch of degenerates.” With a low growl, Zhang Xiaofan shoved the one blocking his way. The green-haired student was pushed straight into the urinal, soaking his clothes and sending a wave of urine stench into the air.

“Damn you! Get him!” the boy shouted, furious at being humiliated in front of everyone.

“Wow, the new kid’s tough—he just took on Wu Hai’s gang.”

“No kidding. He’s pretty strong, but crossing Wu Hai means trouble for sure.”

The surrounding students whispered, eager to watch the drama unfold.

“You stink,” Zhang Xiaofan said to the urine-soaked lackey. Then, with one hand, he grabbed Wu Hai and slammed him down on top of the green-haired boy, sending the group sprawling.

Without another glance, he walked out, washed his hands, and left them behind without a second thought.

“Great, first day at school and I run into thugs. What rotten luck.” Zhang Xiaofan hadn’t gone easy on them, but he hadn’t been too harsh either—a simple lesson would suffice.

“Ow… damn it, stay away from me! You reek!” In the restroom, Wu Hai kicked the green-haired boy aside.

“Find out which class that kid’s in. He dared to hit me, Wu Hai,” he snarled.

“Boss, that guy’s pretty strong—we’re no match for him,” one of the lackeys whispered, still shaken by how easily Zhang Xiaofan had lifted Wu Hai with one hand.

“You’re right. Revenge can wait—today we have more important things to do. After school, gather the brothers. We’ll help Boss Lü teach Zhu Jianlong a lesson. If Boss Lü’s pleased, we’ll be set in the future.” Wu Hai, cowed for now, had already hatched his plan: win over Boss Lü, then get him to help regain his pride.
