The male lead who refuses to eat (50)
Xie Yu felt his body growing lighter and lighter. He was walking down a long corridor.
The hallway was quiet and dim, stretching out endlessly before him, swallowed by darkness.
He had a vague premonition of where he was.
Xie Yu continued walking. After an unknown amount of time, a door appeared before him.
It was unlocked. He pushed it open and stepped inside.
In the center of the vast, empty room stood a massive circular table, surrounded by three vacant chairs.
The surroundings began to shift. Where there should have been walls, black doors emerged, as if each one concealed a different room behind it.
Just then, one of the doors opened.
A young man, completely unknown to Xie Yu, stepped out.
He had dazzling long golden hair and azure eyes as beautiful as a summer starfield. Although his eye sockets were deep and his nose bridge high, his features leaned more toward an Eastern ethnicity.
He wore a silver-white uniform, his hands clad in white gloves. One hand rested on the hilt of a sword at his waist, his posture both upright and elegant.
He was incredibly handsome and possessed a very unique air.
This "person," no matter how one looked at him, did not resemble the type who would dismember a dozen grown men with his bare hands.
This "person" exceeded Xie Yu's expectations; he realized almost instantly that this was not that guy.
The stranger glanced at him, walked slowly to a chair, and sat down, offering a haughty smile. "A pleasure to meet you. You do not seem surprised, sir."
"Since that is the case, let us strike a bargain..."
Things were becoming interesting. It appeared he had more than one sub-personality.
Xie Yu also offered a smile. However, this smile was somewhat cryptic.

"I apologize, Mr. Xie, Cheng. I failed again this time.
He has completely sealed himself off from the outside world; he is simply unreachable.
And when I attempted to communicate with him, there was no response.
It is highly likely due to his resistance and vigilance. It is also possible he is currently in a deep slumber, which is why he does not respond.
Regardless, we must make more attempts.
From now on, come three times a week."
Cheng Yiming asked, "Is this a good thing or a bad thing? At the very least, as long as Yu is conscious, he absolutely cannot come out, right?"
"There are no absolutes in this world," Dr. Wen replied. "I will prescribe you some medication; you must take it on time. However, there is no need to be too tense; that is actually detrimental to your condition."
Xie Yu maintained a gentle expression and thanked him.
After scheduling the next therapy session with Dr. Wen, they took their leave.
In the car.
"This won't do. I need to keep an eye on you for a while; I can't leave you alone. You’re moving in with me," Cheng Yiming said sternly.
Xie Yu rested his fingertips together on his lap, looking curiously at the scenery rushing by outside the window, ignoring his uncle's words.
"I'm talking to you."
"You boy, why are you becoming more and more withdrawn?
With an attitude like this, how are you going to pursue a girl?
That girl you were with before, named Xu... right, Xu Weiwan, isn't it?
Do you think your uncle should go see her?
I probably should, considering what you did... Tsk, tsk, why do I feel so guilty?"
"Xu... Weiwan." Xie Yu's voice was extremely soft, so light that Cheng Yiming, who was still rambling, did not hear him at all.
"Is that your name now? My Prince."
"Hm? Did you say something?" With the light turning red ahead, Cheng Yiming stopped the car and instinctively turned to look at his nephew.
He was momentarily stunned by what he saw, asking with unexplained confusion, "By the way, why aren't you wearing your mask? And what's with the white gloves on your hands? Where did you get those? Why are you wearing them?"
"Xie Yu" raised his hands and smiled. "I picked them up from that doctor earlier."
Cheng Yiming met his nephew’s brilliant smile and, for some reason, felt a sudden chill.
