Wave after wave of excitement overwhelmed Su Liu to the point of near overload.
This game world is divided into different servers based on the players’ original countries and regions. Su Liu belonged to the Chinese Server 888.
Last time, after exhausting effort, Su Liu only managed to get two opportunities for server-wide announcements in the early stages, earning generous rewards that immediately boosted her strength to a new level.

A silver-crafted supply box materialized on the ground, startling the little fox beside her, who leapt into Su Liu’s arms.

Su Liu hugged the little fox excitedly, showering it with kisses.
The little fox looked puzzled, not understanding why its owner was suddenly so happy and affectionate, but it still nuzzled Su Liu’s neck in response.
Su Liu’s heart melted looking at her soft and adorable little fox.
“I’ll call you Little Dumpling from now on, okay?”
Little Dumpling nestled in her arms and let out two soft, happy sounds, full of joy.

Once again, Su Liu was assigned to the grassland region. The sun grew hotter by the minute, so she planned to take Little Dumpling to their four-square-meter personal space to open the chest.

Su Liu rubbed her hands together and lifted the Silver Secret Chest.
Little Dumpling settled on Su Liu’s right shoulder, its fluffy tail swirling once as the two of them—human, fox, and chest—entered the space.
She looked around. It resembled a storage room, enclosed with no doors or windows, lit by four torches in the corners.
Su Liu placed the Silver Secret Chest on the ground and pressed her hands together in prayer.
Little Dumpling tilted its head and tried to imitate her, stacking its paws, but lost balance and tumbled forward, leaving only its fluffy tail wagging in the air.
Su Liu couldn’t help but chuckle, scooping up Little Dumpling to pet it, warmth flooding her heart.
Then she heaved and pried open the Silver Secret Chest.
Thankfully, it was still the newbie protection period, so no strange creatures would spawn from supply boxes. Otherwise, with her current stats, she wouldn’t dare open a silver-level box even with ten thousand guts.
Different rarity levels might harbor different levels of danger inside.

With the tent, she could relax and rest at night without worrying that the kerosene lamp would go out and leave them vulnerable to monsters.
The vehicle fragments were even more amazing. Looking at the single fragment (1/30) in her 10-slot backpack, Su Liu felt a surge of anticipation.
Although every player would get a chance to randomly choose a vehicle in the fourth month of the game, the earlier she had one, the sooner she could cover more distance. Not only would she rank higher on the monthly leaderboard, earning more rewards, but she’d also save time to participate in random dungeons along her route.
Random dungeons differed from the monthly mandatory dungeons in that game time didn’t pause. Dungeon time and survival game time were measured day-to-hour. If the required kilometers weren’t completed that day for any reason, the game would simply erase the progress.
“No more hesitation, time to move! Since I have a restart chance, I’ll fight for a better rank and a better life in the game!”
Little Dumpling purred in support, cheering Su Liu on.
Su Liu moved the Silver Secret Chest to a corner of the space, storing supplies she wouldn’t need immediately inside the box, and placed the food into her backpack slots.
She glanced at the Water-Type Spirit Beast Evolution Stone. Although Little Dumpling couldn’t use it now, once it leveled up to level two, she could put it up in the trading hall. Maybe she could exchange it for other supplies.
Why wait until level two? Because players who evolve their spirit beasts first also get chances for server-wide or even zone-wide announcements.
Su Liu wasn’t about to hand over those generous rewards to others.
She took a rabbit breast from the Rabbit Meat Family Bucket and placed it on the lid of the box, pouring a bowl of bottled water nearby.
She didn’t expect Little Dumpling to help much on the journey. It was better to let the little fox rest well in the space, so it wouldn’t exhaust itself running around.
